Cheryl Johnson, president, is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of successful and practical experience in the management of finance, accounting, human resources and administration for privately held business. Her breadth of knowledge and depth of experience enable her to provide clients with unique insight and effective services that will empower them to make positive changes.

Cheryl has 12 years of experience in chief financial officer (CFO) positions in evolving, complex business environments.  She has worked with successful business owners and stakeholders at various types of companies, including manufacturers, distributors, resellers, service providers, and franchises.  Her industry experience is expansive, including: energy, food, aviation, government contractors, retail, high technology and biotech. Additionally, Cheryl’s experience has been in many different company phases including: organic high growth, acquisitions, divestitures, turnarounds, restructures, wind-downs and start-ups.

Prior to her CFO experience, Cheryl was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, LLP.  She was in the public accounting practice area for 12 years, primary at “Big 4” accounting firms and international consulting organizations. Her experience was primarily with entrepreneur companies in a wide range of industries. Cheryl’s public accounting expertise included eight years in accounting and auditing and five years in litigation consulting.

Cheryl is a CPA in the State of California and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from San Jose State University.  Cheryl was acknowledged by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal as a 2008 Top CFO honoree. She is a member of the California Society of CPAs.
